Terry Janow
Terry Janow is a former "Grove School of Music" Director of the General Musicianship in Los Angeles, woodwind artist for New Lawrence Welk Orchestra in Branson, Missouri, Missionary for Indonesian Full Gospel Fellowship in Jakarta, Indonesia and Band Director for Sekolah Pelita Harapan, a private Christian school of over 1500 Indonesian and International students.
Terry Janow holds a Master of Arts from the Omega Bible Institute and Seminary.
As a saxophonist,Terry has written many original music compositions , and recorded albums in the USA, Korea ,Indonesia, performed with Paul Baloche,The Temptations,Anita O’Day, Chester Thompson .He has received A Jazz Award from the National Endowment of the Arts.
Terry serves as the Instrumental Music Director of the Hoffmantown Church Orchestra.
Terry and his wife, Mariasari, founded the “Janow Academy of Music LLC” in February of 2010.
Mariasari Janow
Mariasari has developed the love of music since she was 6 years old. She has studied Piano, Organ, Guitar, Vocals, Bass, Drums and Violin. Mariasari grew up playing organ at church at nine years old. She graduated from the Grove School of Music in Los Angeles in Keyboard/Piano and Music Arranging & Composition. Mariasari holds Bachelor of Arts in Music Composition from the University of La Verne in California.
She studied Film Scoring/Composition at UCLA in Los Angeles. Mariasari has written original Compositions, Jingles for TV,and Movie scoring where she played and recorded in USA , Korea and Indonesia.
Mariasari and her husband Terry Janow established J.A.M (Janow Academy of Music LLC ) in 2010 in Albuquerque New Mexico. She serves in the Praise Team and Hoffmantown Church Orchestra . Mariasari enjoys composing and arranging Music and learning new kinds of instruments.
