Mid- High School Vocal Ensemble will build upon the basics of choral technique by putting together more dynamic sets of music, learning to engage with more complex sight reading, and working with their peers and director to find a unified sound as a full choir. There will be much deeper focus on tonal specifics, vowel shaping, and deeper understanding of music theory.

Guitar works on learning the basics of sheet music reading, and basic chord formation on the guitar. Once chord progressions are formed and skills are growing the students will learn techniques of strumming and plucking with rhythm basics. This course is a combination of learning the instrument both classical guitar and acoustic guitar.
Mid-High School Guitar class focuses in more into the detailed work of classical guitar. The art of diving deep into dynamic fret work as well as sheet music reading and music theory will be a great focus for these students.

Piano
Piano teaches not only beginning piano but instills music concepts such as rhythm, music notation, and music movement. To reinforce these musical concepts the students are introduced to “music games” that help them better understand music in a “fun” way.Piano lessons always meet each student at their own level. Each student will receive material to learn that is at their level, from beginning to more experienced. All students will have their own electronic piano with weighted keys and will use head phones so they may work on their own music.

Violin
Our Violin class enjoys beginning to intermediate instruction on the orchestra's most featured instrument. The class includes instruction book with basics on violin care, music theory, exercises and melodies.
Students will provide their own instruments. Progress, as with all music classes, will be achieved through in class participation and daily practice at home. Violin is one of the most popular instruments in music education.
