JAM offers a dynamic range of courses to both young and old. No matter your age or skill level, the talented, trained, and experienced staff will help anyone grow in their field of music. Follow the links below to chose the right program for you.
Vocal Technique + Performance
Vocal Technique and Performance for grades 3, 4, 5, and 6 learn the basics of choral experience. Students will learn how to vocally blend with those around them, the basics of music theory and reading music, as well as begin engaging with basics of vocal and choral technique.
Mid- High School Vocal Ensemble will build upon the basics of choral technique by putting together more dynamic sets of music, learning to engage with more complex sight reading, and working with their peers and director to find a unified sound as a full choir. There will be much deeper focus on tonal specifics, vowel shaping, and deeper understanding of music theory.
Band for grades 4 and 5 will work towards building a band of young instrumentalists to not only practice mastering their own instruments and learn music reading, but also learn to listen and work with those around them to create a beautiful sound.
Mid- High School Band will work on overall technique of band ensemble functionality as well as individual skill improvement in their instrument. This band will be given more challenging and engaging material while spending more time on drawing out the best of each member of the band.
Guitar for grades 4 and 5 will work on learning the basics of sheet music reading, and basic chord formation on the guitar. Once chord progressions are formed and skills are growing the students will learn techniques of strumming and plucking with rhythm basics. This course is a combination of learning the instrument both classical guitar and acoustic guitar.
Mid-High School Guitar class focuses in more into the detailed work of classical guitar. The art of diving deep into dynamic fret work as well as sheet music reading and music theory will be a great focus for these students.
Piano for grades 1 & 2 group piano teaches not only beginning piano but instills music concepts such as rhythm, music notation, and music movement. To reinforce these musical concepts the students are introduced to “music games” that help them better understand music in a “fun” way.
Piano grades 3,4 & 5 group piano meets each student at their own level. Each student will receive material to learn that is at their level, from beginning to more experienced.
All students will have their own electronic piano with weighted keys and will use head phones so they may work on their own music.
Our Violin class grades 3-5 enjoys beginning to intermediate instruction on the orchestra's most featured instrument. The class includes instruction book with basics on violin care, music theory, exercises and melodies.
Students will provide their own instruments. Progress, as with all music classes, will be achieved through in class participation and daily practice at home. Violin is one of the most popular instruments in music education.
Our Adult lessons are available for anyone seeking to begin, grow, or master a certain area of music. Any of our JAM instructors will meet with you to instruct you one on one. Depending on your desired skill, you will be paired with the best instructor to work with you on a schedule that fits your life.

To provide opportunities for students to continue to grow in their musical skills during these unprecedented times, JAM is offering online courses and training on-going. These courses will occur interactively over live video-lessons and upon registration JAM will inform the students and parents of the appropriate details to get it set up. Please review the policies below while considering this option. Pricing details can be found on the Enrollment page.
Attendance Policy: Students are required to show up ONLINE for every lesson. It is the responsibility of the student to be on time. If you are late, we can only give you the remaining time in your lesson. Therefore please be on time.
Cancelation Policies: If you have to cancel a lesson, we require a 48 hour notice. Cancellations must be made by telephone and not by email. You can leave a message at any time, day or night to leave a cancellation notice.
If circumstances do not allow you to call and cancel until the actual day of your lesson, we appreciate it if you would let us know of your absence by calling the JAM cell phone. If you miss a lesson for any reason, makeups will not automatically be given. If you would like a makeup lesson, you may ask if there are any student cancellations that month in which case we would be happy to give you a lesson during that open time slot. If JAM is forced to cancel a lesson due to illness, Traveling or performance, you will be given a credit towards the next month’s tuition.
Please do not cancel a lesson because you think you have not practiced enough that week. If for some reason you were away from your piano and could not practice at all, you should still attend your online lesson. There is always something new to learn!
Payment Policy: During the first lesson of each month, the student is requested to pay for that full month’s tuition in advance. If payment is not received before the 3rd lesson of the month, instruction will cease until payment is made. We really appreciate when you make your payment at the beginning of each month. These fees reserve your weekly time slot in our calendar each month.
